I occasionally have coffee with some girl friends early in the morning and I wanted to bring something for them to celebrate Good Friday. Working with a budget and getting creative are 2 really good skills to have. Typically there is 6 of us at coffee but one gal got lucky and will be spending Easter weekend in Arizona where it's nice and warm.
So I gathered my pasta jars, who doesn't have a cabinet full of them, right?
Bought 2 yards of of yellow ribbon and 20 bright orange and yellow tulips. I was going to add daffodils but there wasn't enough room.
How darn cute did these end up? The girls were thankful for a fresh bouquet for their tables or counter tops or their desks. It was really nice to do something nice for someone else.
This is a very inexpensive way to spread some sunshine. Also a great hostess gift this weekend. Get your fresh cut flowers today so they have time to open tonight and be in bloom for brunch tomorrow.
Have a blessed Easter.
